Scheduling Your Marriage
Arrangements must be made through the Parish Office at least 6 months prior to the date requested. Please do not reserve a hall or make other preparations before confirming the date with the Pastor.
One of the engaged persons (or their parents) must be a registered and active parishioner of Holy Family.
Weddings are not scheduled on Saturday evenings or Sundays.

A Prayer for Engaged Couples
Lord, as we prepare for the sacrament of marriage, we come to ask what you desire from us.
Guide us to know your will.
May we look to your love for us as our model of how we are to love each other.
Show us how to nourish and cherish each other as we would our own bodies.
Bring your strength to our weakness so that we might help each other grow into people you created us to be.
Enable us to grow in our intimacy with you and with each other so that we might experience the fullness of your love.
Thank you for the gift of marriage so that we can more fully understand your love for us.
Amen.

Lord God, we acknowledge your greatness and our need for your grace in our marriage.
We thank you for the gift you have given us in each other, this opportunity to love and be loved completely.
Following your example, Jesus, may we be quick to forgive, ready with a healing word or touch.
Teach us to speak to each other with charity and honesty.
Help us avoid the temptation to take each other for granted.Instead, remind us, day by day, to see each other as you see us.
May we be as patient with each other as you are with us.May our love be generous, reaching out beyond ourselves to all we meet.
We pray that they may meet you in us.
Let our life together be a light of hope to those who fear that a total commitment is not possible
today.Lord, be a partner with us in our marriage; with your help it will be strong and enduring.
We rejoice that you have brought us together.
