Religious Education

Catechists & Aides

RE Advisory Board

Sacrament Prep

Baptism Prep
 Help lead monthly baptism prep sessions that foster community and prepare parents for their child’s sacrament. Contact Deacon John at [email protected]

Marriage Prep
Help couples prepare for the Sacrament of Marriage by reviewing FOCCUS results with them. Contact Maria Velazquez at [email protected].

Wedding Coordinators
Assist the bride and groom at rehearsal and on their wedding day.  Contact Maria Velazquez at [email protected].

RCIA
Team: Help prepare adults for the Sacraments of Initiation through relationship, leading prayer and assisting at weekly session September through April.

Participant: Learn about the faith and prepare to celebrate the sacraments of Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation.

Altar Servers
Assist the priest and deacon during Mass and other liturgical celebrations.

Altar Linens
Launder and care for the linens and albs used during Mass.

Adorers for Adoration
Commit to a weekly one hour time slot to sit with Jesus in Eucharistic Adoration. Contact Shanele Kirksey at [email protected].

Art & Environment
Assist in decorating the church for each liturgical season and special feast days. Contact Charles Hamilton at [email protected].

Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW)
Lead or assist with weekly sessions to help kids understand the Word of God. CLOW takes place during the Liturgy of the Word at the 8:30am and 10:15am Sunday Masses. Contact Alyssa O’Brien at [email protected].

Eucharistic Ministers
Distribute the Holy Eucharist during Mass.

Greeters
Arrive fifteen minutes early and greet people as they enter the narthex for Mass.

Lectors
Proclaim the Word of God at Mass and other liturgical celebrations.

Sacred Music

Sacristan
Set up for daily morning Mass.

Ushers
Greet and assist at Mass, holding the door open and helping people find seating.
