Where are the lyrics??

     On August 27, 2020, Bishop Pates sent a letter to music directors clarifying the procedures regarding music that are to remain in place until Covid restrictions are lifted. In that letter, the bishop stated that because singing is currently discouraged, parishes are asked NOT to distribute printed materials or project music or words to hymns. Out of respect for the diocese, I immediately removed from the powerpoint the lyrics to anything that the cantor sings. For those who watch Holy Family’s Sunday mass online, I will send each week’s lyrics to our videographer to be shown on the live stream as often as possible, and you are welcome to sing at the top of your lungs from the comfort of your home.
